I see you struggling to find your way, your voice, your power, and your path in the world as you wade through self-doubt, overwhelm, confusion and pain. I want you to know that I’ve been there and that you’re not broken.
You might be experiencing the effects of trauma. Trauma is more than what happened to us. Trauma shapes our beliefs about ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we see the world.
What if this narrative of who you are and what you “should be” doing was a script given to you by someone else? What if you got to decide for yourself who you are while feeling embodied and self-expressed in the world?
What if you are WAY more powerful than you know? I know. I’ve traversed this path and reclaimed my power. And it is my greatest honor to walk with you and help you unravel these disempowering narratives so you can write your own story and stand in the truth of who you are. We’re all just walking each other home. The world needs you to stand in your power. Are you ready?
What Is Trauma
Trauma occurs when experiences are too big or too much for our systems to process with the resources we have at the time.
It can form from physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, accidents, falls, or medical procedures, family dysfunction, bullying, betrayal, and much more.
Impacts of Trauma
Trauma impacts our brains, our bodies, and our nervous system. It creates a disconnect between our mind and body, and ourselves and others.
Trauma can dysregulate our nervous system, creating swings in energy and emotions, and patterns of anxiety and overwhelm.
Effects of Trauma
The effects of trauma can take the form of fear, shame, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, and paralyzing inaction.
It can show up in repeating relational patterns with friends, partners, and coworkers, and it can settle into the body tissues as muscular tension, posture patterns, and pain.
Feel comfortable in your body and more at ease in the world?
Develop a toolkit of somatic practices to cultivate peace, presence, and emotional regulation?
Learn to create energetic boundaries and other strategies to navigate the world as a sensitive soul?
Unravel disempowering narratives, fears & patterns of relating that leave you re-creating the same situations over and over again?
Find the truth of who you are, Identify your unique gifts, and start sharing them with the world?
Cultivate self-care practices that nourish your body and connect to the wisdom of your heart?
Simply put, I work with women who’ve been disempowered – women who’ve had their light dimmed or their voices silenced. They may feel uncomfortable in their bodies or unsafe in the world. They often struggle with identity as a result of trauma. Many of my clients are women in transition who are navigating career or relationship changes, loss, or an empty nest.
Most of my clients have experienced one or more of the following: sexual abuse or assault, medical trauma, or dysfunctional family environments, including scapegoating, substance abuse, divorce, narcissism, or other mental health challenges.
The clients I often align best with are creatives, visionaries, black sheep, rebels, empaths, HSPs (highly sensitive person), ‘lost children’ of ACOAs, and those in helping or healing professions.
Developmental Trauma
Trauma that occurred in early years. Includes physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, dysfunctional family and relational dynamics, cultural patterning, bullying, divorce, substance abuse, and mental health challenges, among others
Identity Trauma
Pervasive and insidious abuse that erodes our sense of self and causes us to doubt our feelings, perceptions, and reality itself. Includes but not limited to favoritism, narcissism, and family scapegoating abuse
Grief
Grief work is an essential part of healing trauma. We often have to grieve the ideal caregivers that we didn’t get, the years we lost to abuse, & where we are versus where we expected to be. I work with grief in the context of trauma recovery as well as grief due to the loss of a loved one.
Depending on the desired focus, clients may choose to work virtually in a coaching format, or in-person doing bodywork (Los Angeles area). The coaching format will focus more on narratives, stories and relational patterning, while bodywork sessions strive to decrease physical pain, and establish a feeling of connection and safety to the body. Both formats will use nervous system regulation as a focus.
Each session is customized to the individual client needs and goals and may utilize elements of storytelling, movement, sound, breath, and somatic techniques along with dialoguing.

"Tana has helped me work through and release blocks that I didn’t even know existed. She digs deep and it’s a beautifully freeing experience THAT LASTS! It’s not just a feel good for the rest of the day type of thing. It’s a “we got rid of some shit and made space for the good stuff to come flowing in” type of thing! Tana will help you to get in touch with your body and to tap back into YOU"
(Breathwork Series)
“I feel AMAZING! It feels like someone else’s body. I mean, in a good way! Also, my singing voice felt completely different and better. I was singing in the kitchen while I was making food. That is, also, not like “me”. Okay, it’s MORE like me than I have been in a long time. Haha”
(Breathwork Session)
"This work is powerful, potent, and transformative. Tana helped me release decades of trauma and stagnant energy stuck in my body. After working with her, I always feel lighter and more radiant. Self love is now within reach." (Breathwork Series)
"I felt like I was talking to God. It felt like a transmission. I physically feel a change in the cells of my body"

Tana’s Embodiment Course was such an amazing experience! I gained more insight into my own nervous system and learned a lot of different tools for how to regulate myself, release excess energy and getting myself back out of dorsal collapse. Tana is full of positive energy and has so much knowledge and know how to share, I’m grateful for those six weeks. I feel more confident in myself and more connected with my body, able to feel more present, alive and in my body. And the community of strong and supportive women was so beautiful to experience. Thank you so much for everything, Tana!

Tana brought together such an amazing group of women and grew a wonderful, nurturing community that grew vulnerability and connection I would've never thought possible in only six weeks over Zoom. There were tears and laughter and support that fully exceeded my expectations. Tana has definitely set me on a course toward true embodiment as well as opened new doors, truly transformational doors, in my own healing journey. Thank you so much, Tana, and everyone else who joined!
